We’re Megan and Mark Severino!
We’re a New England-based husband & wife wedding photography & videography team. Our home is in North Haven, Connecticut, but each wedding season, we travel across all of Connecticut, New England, NYC, and beyond.
We’re both trained photographers & filmmakers. A majority of our wedding couples hire us for both photography and videography. We work seamlessly together when capturing photos and videos, and we are able to work efficiently because we build off of each other’s creativity. When we’re capturing both services for you, I, Megan, lead photography, and Mark directs our videography team.
At your wedding, you’re bound to catch Mark singing and dancing as he films the best action shots of your loved ones during your reception. He will be the one capturing epic drone photos and videos of your day, and getting the best laughs out of the groomsmen. His fun energy will keep you feeling relaxed and at ease on your wedding day.
I will be the one taking the lead during couples, bridal party, and family portraits. I come prepared with prompts and simple posing tricks to help you feel joyful and comfortable in your skin behind my camera. I love candid photos and sincere emotion, so my prompts are geared toward enhancing genuine moments.
Most of your day, we’ll be flies on the wall, and let everything happen naturally. However, during portrait time, Mark and I will adjust you to help capture the most flattering angles and the best compositions. We get to know each other well before your wedding day so that we have a deep understanding of what you personally value in wedding photography. Your wedding day is a cohesive mixture of your vision for your photos and videos, and the creativity that Mark and I bring to the table. We work together to ensure that your photos and videos feel unique to you as a couple.
As a pair at your wedding, you’re likely to witness both Mark & I crying along with you during your first look. We’ll be soaking in your whole day like longtime friends, as we envision the creative way we’ll edit your galleries. The most rewarding aspect our our job is curating heirloom photo and video galleries that you and your families will cherish for generations to come.
